We are Edwin and Marjon, two people who enjoy life and found each other in Spain – in a place where you almost feel like you’re at the end of the world. It is exactly this sense of space and freedom that made us fall in love with this place.
Three years ago, with great love and perseverance, Edwin transformed this old cortijo into three atmospheric apartments. A place that radiates peace, yet also invites you to celebrate life. Marjon is a true traveler and discovered Spain during her campervan journeys. At the beginning of 2025, our paths crossed, and love brought Marjon to El Sueño de Andalucía as well. By now, this place also feels like home to her, and together with Edwin she is living this Spanish dream.
What we personally love most about being here is the feeling of freedom. The space. The silence. Being able to gaze endlessly into the distance and enjoy the beautiful starry sky at night. That same freedom is what we offer in our apartments: the freedom to slow down and follow your own rhythm. Whether you want to enjoy the silence in complete peace, or put on some music and celebrate life. Always with respect for one another and for the environment.Because we travel a lot ourselves, we know how important it is to feel welcome and at home in an apartment: clean, well cared for, atmospheric and thoughtfully designed. A place where you can truly arrive and enjoy.
We are real people-people: social, open and genuinely involved. That is also why we organize retreats and support other retreat organizers who host their retreats with us. During these weeks, we create space for relaxation, connection and new experiences – sometimes calm and deepening, sometimes active and adventurous. Always with the same intention: to give you a wonderful time, so you return home feeling recharged and inspired. Here, Edwin can fully express his organizational, social and creative side, while Marjon brings her energetic yet gentle and connecting presence. Her life experience in personal development, yoga, massage and communication beautifully come together in this place.
